About The Show
Try making dinner together for the first time.
Recipe For Romance pairs two strangers in a fully equipped home kitchen and gives them one task: cook a three-course meal together. No experience required. No rules. Just heat, hunger, and whatever chemistry develops along the way.
Shot in New York City. Real couples. Real food. Real reactions. Somewhere between the chopping and the chaos — real connections.
The Format
You apply. Our casting team reviews your story, energy, and vibe. If there's a spark on paper, we match you with someone we think you should meet.
You meet your match for the very first time — in the kitchen. No awkward coffee date. Just two people, a recipe, and whatever happens next.
Three courses. One kitchen. How you work together tells us — and you — everything. Who leads? Who panics? Who tastes before they're supposed to?
You plate the meal, sit down, and discover if the chemistry in the kitchen was just heat — or the beginning of something real.

Filming in New York City. No experience necessary. Just bring yourself.

Thank you for your interest in appearing on Recipe For Romance. Please read these guidelines carefully before submitting your application.
Selected contestants will be paired with another applicant chosen by our casting team. You will meet your match for the first time on the day of filming. Together, you will be given a mystery recipe and tasked with cooking a three-course meal in a fully equipped kitchen. The experience is filmed over the course of a single production day.
Post-filming interviews will also be conducted on the same day. Total commitment is approximately 8–12 hours.
Selected contestants will receive a participation stipend. Details will be provided at the time of selection. Contestants are responsible for their own transportation to and from the filming location in New York City.
Selected contestants will be required to sign a Talent Appearance Release Agreement prior to filming. This agreement grants Ritzy Burg Productions LLC the right to use your likeness, voice, and filmed content in connection with Recipe For Romance across all media, platforms, and distribution channels. You will have the opportunity to review the agreement with sufficient time before signing.
Casting applicants are asked to keep the details of the application process, their match, and their filming experience confidential until the show’s release. Selected contestants will be asked to sign a standard confidentiality agreement as part of the talent package.
